Quick HOWTO : AIX Software/Patch Management

Here is the quick HOWTO for AIX Software management..

Install Software  -  installp -a

Uninstall software - installp -u

List installed software - lslpp -L all

Verify installed software - lppchk -v

List all files  -  lslpp -f fileset

List installed patches - instfix -i

Package owner - lslpp -w path

SW Directory  - /usr/lpp
